One of the challenges in Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway is called "that's a good hook!" and allows the player to unlock Dr. Paula Hutchinson as a crew member. Unlike other challenge titles which reference catchphrases and episode titles, this references a well-known behind-the-scenes story from the production of Rocko's Modern Life, where a request from a Nickelodeon executive for the series to feature a strong female role model with a "good hook" lead to the conception of Hutchinson and her signature hook hand.

• Stinger's Thought Peek no longer references the 1990 Madonna song "Vogue".
• The password clues on the Sunken Ship are no longer written by famous explorers.

Some of these references, such as the Bruce Lee reference, may be due to licensing issues.

Attachment When Hades appears in the Polygon Man boss fight, there is a rare chance that he will perform a dance akin to a cowboy swinging a lasso while spinning in a circle. This dance originated from the 1995 episode "Viva Lost Wages" of the TV series "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", where Will and Carlton are forced to enter a talent contest to win money to return home from Las Vegas. During the talent contest, they performed a dance set to The Sugarhill Gang's cover of the Jerry Lordan-penned instrumental song "Apache", with added lyrics turning it into the song "Jump on It", and the dance in question was originally improvised by Will Smith and Alfonso Ribeiro prior to the episode's filming backstage. The cowboy portion of this dance would later be popularized around the time of PlayStation All-Star Battle Royale's release through an appearance in the music video to "Gangnam Style" by Psy. It is not known if there is any way to intentionally trigger this Easter egg.

The character Andre Richardson from Yakuza 3 is notorious for speaking in poor English despite him being American, with one line especially where he says:

"If you're looking for Daigo, Mine's taken him up to the roof."

In saying the line, "roof" is pronounced more as "ruff". This meme was referenced with his return in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, where in the English dub, after Ichiban spends a night at the bar he runs, he says the line:

"If you ever need a roof over your head-"

And during this line he says the word roof in a similar matter.

Throughout the second part of Lostbelt 6, Avalon La Fae, the player is met with several unskippable dialogue options. Special dialogue options can be unlocked by selecting the following options:

• Section 11-6: Spoiler:"...(Does that mean Altria's and Oberon's eyes are-)"
• Section 12-1: Spoiler:"(Even from so early on...?)"
• Section 13-1: Spoiler:"Come to think of it, you never did tell us about your summoning, Oberon."
• Section 16-5: Spoiler:"...(There's something I should double-check with Oberon...)" Choosing this option also reveals an extended sequence where Oberon reveals he hired Koyanskya to take care of Morgan's reinforcements during the siege of Londinium.
• Section 20-4: Spoiler:"...(But, if I do that...)"
• Section 23-4: Spoiler:"...Maybe it's because she can tell when someone is lying?"
• Section 23-6: Spoiler:"Even though you said it doesn't exist here?"

By selecting these options when prompted, special red dialogue options appear after beating Spoiler:Cernunos and Spoiler:Grimr The Sage declares himself the only Servant summoned from Proper Human History. These red dialogue options reveal that the player figured out Oberon was tricking them into playing along with his scheme, and that he was lying about his motives and goals the entire time.

In the cutscenes for Kat & Ana's stage in WarioWare: Move It!, Cractus from Wario Land 4 appears. This is the first time a Wario Land character has appeared in the cutscenes of a WarioWare game.

In the Japanese version of Move It!, Cractus has a slightly different name from the Cractus that appeared in Wario Land 4.

The latter game's Cractus was called フラワナ, or Furawana, a pun on "flower" and「罠」(wana, trap). The former that appears in Move It! however is called フラワニ, or Furawani, a pun on "flower" and「鰐」(wani, crocodile). This name change could mean the character was renamed, or the Cractus in Move It! is meant to represent a different individual from the same species.
