The European and American versions have many differences regarding mission names, character names, chapter names and more. This is due to Nintendo of America and Europe both receiving Japanese versions of the games to translate independently.

Despite not being released in Japan, the game contains a complete Japanese translation that is functional but dummied out in the game files. The Japanese script most closely resembles the English script of the European version.
