Far Cry 2
1
Attachment In King Nnyere's office in his Fort in Lebao-Sako, there is a side table with assorted bottles of liquor, including a unique bottle that can only be found in the Fort. It is a bottle of Extra Special, 43% volume Old French Whisky bottled in Quebec and aged for 30 years, and its label features the face of its brand name "Thomas Gillet: Polack Connection". Gillet was a texture artist at Ubisoft Quebec at the time, but he is not known to have worked on Far Cry 2. The bottle of French whiskey being produced in Quebec is a nod to Ubisoft Quebec, while the name "Polack Connection" seems to both be a nod to the 1971 film "The French Connection" and possibly Gillet's heritage. It's unknown if or how the remaining bottling details relate to Gillet.

Gameplay (there is no close zoom-in on the bottle in this footage so the texture is blurry, but "Polack Connection" can be made out on it, and it's the closest look at the bottle on video available at the moment):

Normally, each time you walk up to the trailer in Pikachu Valley, one or more Pikachus will appear and walk out of it. However, there is a rare chance that a Mimikyu will appear instead, which will then head back inside, leaving the player character confused. After the first time this happens, if you talk to the Trial Guide standing in front of the trailer, a new text prompt will be added telling the guide about the Mimikyu that appeared, but he responds saying he does not believe you and thinks you are "just seeing things".
Super Mario Sunshine

In Episode 8 of Ricco Harbor, a secret 1-Up Mushroom can be obtained through an obscure set of interactions with three duck intertube-riding Piantas. Since they are not interactable while in the water, it is only possible to interact with them by waiting long enough at certain low areas by the water. Once all three Piantas have been talked to, the last one you speak to will reward you with a 1-Up at the starting location of the episode.

Alien Resurrection
1
On December 19, 2023, programmer Martin Piper revealed a pair of hidden cheat codes he included in the original release of Alien Resurrection. To execute these codes, you need to go into the game's Options menu and unlock the Cheat Menu with the code Circle/Left on the D-Pad/Right on the D-Pad/Circle/Up on the D-Pad/R2. The cheats Piper revealed include the following:

• A level selection menu can be unlocked in the Options menu right after unlocking the Cheat Menu by pressing R1/Down on the D-Pad/R1/Right on the D-Pad/L1/Up on the D-Pad/L2/Square. If entered correctly, you will hear a "bonk" sound indicating the code has been activated. Re-entering the Cheat Menu will reveal an additional option to re-visit any section in any level in the game.

• The more notable of the two codes Piper revealed is one that allows the Alien Resurrection disc to act as a boot disc to play PlayStation games on any burned CD-R disc without the use of modding. This novelty method works with any PlayStation model (as long as you have something to block the tray disc sensor on newer models so you can swap out the disc with the tray open), and must be done after unlocking the level selection menu (you can save after unlocking this menu so you do not have to unlock it again if you want to perform the disc swap trick). Once that is unlocked, go back to the Options menu and enter the code Left on the D-Pad/Up on the D-Pad/Right on the D-Pad/Down on the D-Pad/Right on the D-Pad/Up on the D-Pad/Left on the D-Pad/Square/Triangle/Square/Triangle/L1. The "bonk" sound will again be heard if the code is activated. Next, go back to the Cheat Menu and set the level selection to Level 6 and Section 1. Then while highlighting Section 1, hold down L1 (Note: it's imperative to keep holding down L1 for the remainder of this method) and press X. The screen will turn black and the Alien Resurrection disc will stop spinning, at which point you can swap out the disc with a burned CD-R disc of any PlayStation game you desire. While still holding L1, hold Square and Triangle, and then release all three buttons to boot the burned CD-R game.

When asked by YouTube channel Modern Vintage Gamer, Piper revealed that the latter cheat code had never been disclosed to Sony when the game was sent in for certification as Sony would have immediately sent the game back and forced the developers to remove it since it acted as a backdoor for playing pirated games, and he believed that no other developers who worked on the game were made aware of it either. In a YouTube comment, he explained that he only revealed the codes now because it had been so long since the game's release and he did not want to hold onto the secret for the rest of his life. According to him, the intent of the feature stemmed from Alien Resurrection potentially being planned as a multi-disc game, with the feature being implemented as a test to see if discs could be changed without resetting the PlayStation. Unlike standard multi-disc games that function with the PlayStation's built-in ability to swap out discs through an API call to maintain memory data without fully resetting the console, Alien Resurrection has code that loads an .exe file on any burned CD-R disc you swap it out with to start that new game up while bypassing the PlayStation's anti-piracy protection check.

Zoo Tycoon
1
Attachment Predating Zoo Tycoon: Dinosaur Digs, the Triceratops is notably the first ever prehistoric creature included in the Zoo Tycoon series as a hidden unlockable within the first base game. Players could unlock it as an adoptable animal by completing the "Breeding the Panda" scenario, but it could also be unlocked earlier by renaming an exhibit to "Cretaceous Corral".

Notably, with the installation of the aforementioned Dinosaur Digs expansion pack, the Triceratops' sprite is modified to be much smaller in size and duller in color; it also now functions like the other dinosaurs, such as now requiring to be hatched out of an egg and be taken care of by a scientist (as opposed to a zookeeper), and will break out of all fences from the base Zoo Tycoon game.

Within the code of the Atari 7800 version is a hidden developer message stating, "Mommy and me are one". In 1985, experiments to gauge the practice of subliminal messaging had used this exact phrase, which is alleged to have raised self-motivation in test subjects.

Snowboard Kids 2
1
Attachment The main antagonist Damien attempts to cause trouble for the Snowboard Kids throughout the game after his entrance and declaration to conquer Snow Town are completely ignored. Following along with this, a sprite animation of Damien yelling can be found hiding in the sidelines of seven of the game's courses. Damien's irrelevancy is joked at further in the game's manual, where the first six pages after the Table of Contents appear to show him "crash-landing" into the manual and observing some of the instructions and story events from the top-left corner before entering the story himself, as well as the background image of these pages (and also the very last two pages of the manual) being a close-up shot of Damien hopelessly yelling for attention.

If you wait for roughly ten to fifteen minutes on the main menu for any mode, eventually a small gecko-like lizard will appear from the left side of the screen, walking along the bottom while carrying a sign reading "Lost Land Or Bust!!!". When the lizard reaches the other side of the screen, it turns around and walks back to where it came from off-screen, this time revealing another message on the other side of the sign reading "Start the game".
Kingdom Hearts

1
In each Dive to the Heart segment in almost every game in the series, there is a disembodied voice that can only speak through text that guides the characters (and thus the player as well) through the tutorial of each game. The identity of these voices has been unidentified in every game but Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (where it is obviously child Sora) and the first Kingdom Hearts. For the latter, in the Kingdom Hearts Ultimania, Nomura was asked who the voice is for the opening of the first game and he finally gave it's identity as being none other than King Mickey. However, this interview was done in the early 2000's before most of the sequels were produced, so it's unknown if this explanation was retconned or not.

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events
1
Attachment In the ending of the PC version of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, the Count Olaf police mugshots are 3D squares that the camera zooms into. If you change the camera to look at the sides of these mugshots, you can see an anthropomorphic turtle holding a trophy with the caption "CONGRATULATIONS! A WINNER IS YOU!" (a reference to Pro Wrestling for NES).
Spot Goes to Hollywood
1
Attachment If you enters password PROGRESS and then the cheat code A, Right, Down, B, Left, Up, B, B, A in Spot Goes to Hollywood's pause screen, you will unlock a minigame called FRUITMEISTER 2, a slot machine game using developers' heads. There is no reward for winning the game (something cheekily acknowledged in-game with the caption "win a prize or something - probably"). A first FRUITMEISTER minigame is not currently known to exist in any other Eurocom game.
Platform: Family Computer

The HVC Controller Test, a cartridge used internally at Nintendo to test Famicom controllers, contains a hidden Simon-style game, accessed by pressing B and Down on Controller 2.
Daffy Duck in Hollywood
1
Attachment The Game Gear and Master System version of Daffy Duck in Hollywood has a set of 3 cheat codes - the first 2 being a stage select code and an invincibility code. If you enter those in that order and then the third code, Daffy's sprite will be replaced with a digitized image of Probe founder Fergus McGovern.
Sonic 3D Blast
1
If one punches or shakes a Sega Genesis while Sonic 3D Blast is playing, they will access the level select screen. This was not an intentional Easter egg, but rather the result of a loophole made to speed up Sega's tedious quality assurance pipeline by having the level select appear as a failsafe when the game crashes, meaning that Sega testers would simply believe they had unlocked a secret - this trick had previously been used in the development of Mickey Mania: The Timeless Adventures of Mickey Mouse.
Defender
1
Attachment If you fly up to the height at which the ship spawns while protecting a human in Wave 25 of the Atari 2600 version of Defender, all enemy ships will transform into the letters "BP", standing for Defender creator Bob Polaro.
Defender 2000
1
Attachment If you enter OVINE as your name on Defender 2000's high score table, you will temporarily unlock "Flossy Mode", which features Jeff Minter's signature ruminants - specifically, the humans are replaced with pixel art llamas, while the ship is replaced with a photo of Minter's first pet sheep, Flossy.
Wario Land 4
1
Attachment The final level of Wario Land 4, Golden Passage, begins with Wario touching the frog switch, causing the entire stage to play the generic hurry up theme - if a player pauses the game before landing on the switch (or alternatively hacks the game), a unique Golden Passage stage theme can be heard.
