Lust for Darkness

Attachment Shortly after its release onto the Nintendo Switch, the game was removed from sale from the North American Nintendo eShop due to containing content deemed beyond acceptable for the ESRB rating it was given. It was re-released on March 20th, 2020 as Lust for Darkness: Dawn Edition with the explicit content and sexual imagery toned down. The European release however remained unaltered with the "Dawn Edition" also added to the European Nintendo eShop.
Wonder Project J2: Corlo no Mori no Josette

Attachment A port for the PlayStation was reportedly in development though never released. It was aimed for release in late 1997 and would've featured animated sequences that wouldn't have been possible for the Nintendo 64 version due to the cartridge's memory space limitations.
Sonic Riders

The Windows PC version is an exact port of the Xbox version of the game. Because of this, many of the bugs that exists on the Xbox version were carried over to the PC port. One of the bugs that would occur happens whenever a non-CG cutscene would play. All the character’s that appeared in these cutscenes would have their eyes stay fixed in a forward looking position instead of moving around. This bug does not appear in the PlayStation 2 or GameCube versions of the game.
Theme Aquarium

Attachment The game was first released in 1998 on the PlayStation exclusively in Japan as Theme Aquarium, part of the "Theme" series of games by Bullfrog Productions. However, when it was released in 2000 for the PC exclusively in Europe, it was simply titled Aquarium with the "Theme" name and any mentions of Bullfrog Productions dropped.

The reason for the PlayStation version featuring the "Theme" brand was that the previous Theme games had proved popular in Japan so publisher EA Square wanted to help further generate interest by asking Bullfrog to use it in its marketing. When porting it to the PC for the West, the reason to simply release it as Aquarium was due to the belief that "the game quality wasn't high enough for it it come out in the West as a Theme game, with the Bullfrog brand," according to Shintaro Kanaoya, who provided localization assistance.

While pausing the game during a meeting with the titular characters of Battletoads in the Xbox One version of the game, the pause menu theme from Battletoads will play.

Six unused modes (Smoke Show, Party, Car Show, Cash Knockout, Tournament, and Theater) were all planned to appear in the GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC versions of the game.

Attachment The GBA version was planned to have character's emotions within the text boxes similar to their previous Game Boy Color games. The character's faces were originally cartoonish in comparison to their more realistic ones seen in the final game.

Eleven of the game's licensed songs from the Japanese PlayStation version were removed in international release, instead utilizing four songs from Dance Dance Revolution 4th Mix and DDRMAX.

Attachment The game was originally to be released as Free Wheelin' USA, but it was later changed to Hooters Road Trip featuring the Hooters license. The PC version however retained the original title with the Hooters brand completely absent.

Attachment In the Arklay Laboratory, the 'MO disk reader' is actually the GameCube console, as at the time the game was exclusive to the GameCube. However, for the HD Remastered version, the 'MO disk reader' was altered on all platforms to avoid using a console related to Nintendo, even on Nintendo Switch.

The Nintendo 64 and Dreamcast versions of NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC contain secret text in their code that some may find to humorously juxtapose one another.

•The Nintendo 64 version contains the text "An Alan Smithee Game", referring to a pseudonym used by filmmakers to disown a project they don't want to be associated with.
•The Dreamcast version contains the text "Joe Rules", likely a signature referring to either programmer Joe Barnes, artist Joe Williamson, or both.
