In Golgotha near New Reno, a grave can be found with the words "Tim Cain. Founder, Lover, Fighter, Programmer."

Timothy Cain is the original creator of the Fallout series and setting. He was the lead programmer on Fallout and one of the six people responsible for the game's original design.

Attachment The Soldier Costume Transmogrifier, added in the Halloween update of 2013, had a bucket included in its backpack icon, which all other class Transmogrifiers lacked. This was an early reference to the Team Foretress 2 short animation, "Expiration Date", released in June of 2014, and the Soldier's obsession with a similar looking bucket in the animation.

Falcom published books under the alias A. Christin. This is a reference to Adol Christin from the Ys series, as well as her character design being modeled after said character.

Blanc is also a big fan of her books. This is likely a reference to how many Falcom games were on Nintendo consoles.

The Extra Stage boss Komeiji Koishi's theme, "Hartmann's Youkai Girl", is likely named after psychologists Eduard von Hartmann, whose magnum opus, "Philosophy of the Unconscious", may have very well inspired Koishi's ability to manipulate peoples' subconscious, or Heinz Hartmann, whose work on ego psychology shows up in the names of Koishi's spell cards.

The theme is constructed in a way to sound remarkably similar when played in reverse, possibly to further her psychology-driven inspiration. In music, this is often referred to as a "musical palindrome".
