Attachment The international release on Game Gear changed the font and removed act numbers from stage title cards from the Japanese release. Additionally, the stage "Gigalopolis Zone" was changed to "Gigapolis Zone".

Pandora's Tower

In the North American version of Pandora's Tower, there is a bug that freezes the game if you try to access the 11th and 12th towers once the 13th tower opens. Strangely, this bug is only found in the North American version of the game, and hasn't been found in the European, Japanese or Australian versions.
Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks

Attachment In the German version, all the blood and gore was removed or censored in the intro cutscene.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney

The bonus fifth case, "Rise From the Ashes", is the only case in the Ace Attorney games that doesn't have "turnabout" in the title. Strangely, the Japanese name for the case is "Yomigaeru Gyakuten", "gyakuten" being the Japanese equivalent for turnabout.

Attachment When facing the "Big Bird Boss" at "The Old Tree", he drops what looks like feces (possibly intended to be eggs), but this was removed and he was recoloured on the SNES.
The Legend of Zelda

The Japanese release features a glitch that allows the player to obtain hearts only accessible through the use of the bridge or raft items by using the whistle parallel to a heart container. After using the whistle, the player is taken off screen over the item, and thus it is collected. This was remedied in the international release, wherein the player simply doesn't collect the container when they fly over it.
Rayman 2: The Great Escape

In the 3DS version, the spider-web in the Tomb of the Ancients located in front of the 1000th Lum doesn't have any bounce physics. This means that it is impossible to get the 1000th Lum without abusing a glitch in which the player must use an enemy's knock back effect to lift themselves up to it.

Attachment Both editions of the game feature slightly different jack in animations in Japan. The animation was removed from the international release of the games, instead featuring a short white flash.
Street Fighter

Attachment Capcom released a "Deluxe Version" of the game's original arcade cabinet which featured pressure sensitive pads. Players would have to punch the pads in order to execute attacks, and the game measured the pressure applied to result in light, medium or heavy attacks. These machines were often subject to heavy wear and tear due to the nature of hitting the machine.

Attachment The Japanese release features blood effects that appear when a character is hit. These effects were recolored in the international release to make the game appear less violent.

Attachment The Japanese Game Gear release was called "Sonic & Tails", but released as "Sonic Chaos" in all international versions.

Attachment The Japanese version of the game had some content that was cut when it was released overseas. In Warlock Zone III, there was a show consisting of Ebisumaru (Dr. Yang) dancing around and farting at the end. And in Warlock Zone VI, there was a Geisha Strip Club with an accessible strip show, although there is no explicit nudity.
