Crazy Dave was based on David Rohrl, a game designer and employee at PopCap. Crazy Dave has specific items and appearance features which are nods to Rohrl, such as his pot helmet, which Rohrl wears on his head at PopCap parties. He's also acknowledged in the 'Special Thanks' section of the credits.

Attachment Concept art of a female version of Link appears in the Hyrule Warriors artbook. Named as "Linkle", or "Rinkuru" in Japanese, she is described as being "little sister-like". Her design includes a crossbow (also demonstrating that she would have been right handed, whereas Link is normally left handed), and a coat in place of Link's signature tunic. Linkle was later announced as a character for Hyrule Warriors Legends.
The Last of Us Part I

It was revealed during a special one time live event that an extended ending had been written for the game that was never recorded, and went entirely unused. It took place one night after the end of the game, Spoiler: at Tommy's Dam. The scene shows Spoiler:Joel telling Ellie that Tommy is trying to set him up with a girl named Esther, with Ellie acting distant. Joel then begins to play guitar and sing (performed by Joel's actor, Troy Baker). After a joke is told and tension is broken, Joel gifts the guitar to Ellie. The scene would then fade with her strumming a chord. How it all plays out can be disputed, however, as it was only shown to live attendees, which only complicates things, as the game's writer, Neil Druckmann, says that it will never be released in any form. Neil also stated that the scene was intended to Spoiler:be a goodbye for Joel and Ellie, the former of which dies near the start of The Last of Us Part II.
Assassin's Creed

Attachment During the game's opening, Altair is seen shooting a crossbow at an enemy. In the beta version of the game, the crossbow was a usable weapon, but was never made available in the final release of the game. The opening cinematic was very likely made during the beta period of development. The crossbow doesn't make an appearance until Assassins Creed Brotherhood.

Attachment There were plans to release a Game Boy Color version of Jet Force Gemini in 2000, but the game was cancelled before it was even be announced, likely because previous Game Boy Color versions released alongside their Nintendo 64 counterparts (Perfect Dark and Conker's Pocket Tales) were received with low interest. In 2006, a prototype of the game was found and was said to be "nearly complete."

In an October 2012 interview, former Rare designer and producer Martin Wakeley said, "Jet Force Gemini on the Gameboy was the only occasion I can remember Rare outsourcing anything. It was being done by Bits Studios and was nearly done last time I saw it, I'm not sure what happened to it."

Though the enemy weapons have tac-lights, once the player acquires one of these guns, the flashlight disappears. This is due to the fact that the lights are attached to the enemies themselves; not the guns.

Attachment There are four unused cup icons. These icons show old artwork of a Yoshi Egg, a Shine Sprite, a Boo, and a Blue Shell. The icons don't have the decorations of the used icons and are labeled "CupIconDLC00" through "CupIconDLC03." These are placeholder icons used for early, unannounced ideas for DLC, with the Yoshi Cup and Spiny Cup (Blue Shell) later being released as DLC for the Nintendo Switch release of the game.

The Japanese version of the game is significantly slower than other copies of the game. However, it does offer a 'Director's Cut Mode' when the game has been fully completed. When activated, the game runs at the same speed as the US version of the game.
World Heroes Anthology

Attachment On back cover of the game's box, it states "Witness the evolution of 56 characters". However, this is not true. The entire series includes only a total of 22 different characters. This number can only equate to 56 if every character's entry to each game is counted as a different character, and not including any of the boss characters.

Attachment In the English version of the game, if Joseph Joestar beats the DLC character Lisa Lisa, his victory screen has him saying "Why did it have to come to this?! You are tearing me APART, Lisa Lisa!"

This quote is a joke-translation using the same quote from the movie The Room in which Tommy Wiseau's character yells out "You are tearing me APART, Lisa!"
