As a result, these characters are not available through normal play in any other version of the game.

The Road Complex AA1 armor was altered in patches 1.0.1.2 and 1.0.1.3 to change their design. This was done as a result of the gauntlets' resemblance to the "Kek" meme which originated in Starcraft and World of Warcraft but has since taken a different meaning, often being associated with white nationalist movements.

The original intention was in reference to the meme's use in games, and the change came about as Bungie doesn't feel its inclusion given its more contemporary context to be appropriate for the game.

On April 25th 2017, the Temple Hideout stage was removed as it featured a Muslim prayer voice sample from an audio collection known as "Voice Spectral: Volume one", which some argued did not fit the stage, a Buddhist temple. Capcom decided to temporarily remove the stage and publish it again on May 31st 2017 with a different theme.

In the Beta version it's shown that the Twilight versions of the bosses were originally going to have minor enemies added to the arena for an extra challenge. This was changed in the final game, where all bosses get an additional unique attack instead.
