The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
1
Attachment Every city was originally planned to have an Arena. Unused lines exist for the gatekeepers of each city arena, as well as Bruma's Arena being shown in the E3 2001 trailer. The final game uses what was originally the Chorrol Arena as the Imperial City Arena.
Sonic Adventure
1
In the E3 1999 demo of Sonic Adventure, Knuckles had a very different voice. This was the same voice actor, but they re-recorded nearly all of his lines before the game's release. Surprisingly, voices for his entire story were included, even though the demo only had two stages for Knuckles.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
1
Unused voice lines for NPCs exist mentioning "Hearts Day" and "New Life Festival". These are both holidays that existed in The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall. It's possible Bethesda meant for the holiday system and these specific holidays to return in Oblivion, before being cut. Additionally, Pete Hines mentions in an interview that these holidays were to be present in an unreleased DLC.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
1
During a demo at E3 2016, the Shiekah Slate had the ability to reveal an enemy's Hit Points. To do so, the players would hold the Wii U gamepad up to the screen and hold the cursor at the enemy who's Hit Points they want to see. This was removed because of how cumbersome it was and how it was almost no help in helping players on how to analyze enemy camps.
Megadimension Neptunia VII
1
Despite not having a HDD form in game, Nepgya still has voice clips of her "transforming".
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
1
Attachment Within the game's files is an unused NPC named "College Guard". They would have acted similarly to Hold Guards, but for The College of Winterhold.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
1
Attachment There is an unused model for the "The Ring of Khajiiti", a Daedric artifact associated with both Meridia and Mephala. However, it goes unused as both Daedric Princes reward different items. The Ring of Khajiiti was present in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, so the developers may have intended for it to return.
Freedom Planet
1
Attachment The second playable character was originally an unnamed black cat with blonde hair. However, the games creator Sabrina Diduro got permission from Ziyo Ling (the original creator of Lilac, Carol and Milla) to use Carol and Milla in the game. Afterwards she drew Carol over the old character's sprites.
Just Dance 2015
1
Aretha Franklin’s “Respect” was once planned to be added to the Xbox 360 version of the game. Some of the graphics and pictograms are still within the game’s files, including a 9 second clip of the planned choreography. It's unknown why the song was dropped during development.
Just Dance 4
1
B.O.B’s “So Good” was planned to be one of the last DLC for the game. While it was ultimately never included, the entire song, choreography, and graphics are still present within the game’s files.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled
1
Unused files in the game suggest Willie Wumpa Cheeks from Crash Tag Team Racing, Ripto from the Spyro series and the Sorceress from Spyro: Year of the Dragon were once planned to be added to the game as playable characters.
LittleBigPlanet
1
The game was intended to have a feature where players could import photos from the PlayStation 3's hard drive and use them as Stickers in-game. It was intended to be added in an update, possibly version 1.02, but was never released due to fears of players importing explicit content using it. The Image Import Tool was fully completed and functional, and can be hacked back into the player's Popit.
DDRMax2: Dance Dance Revolution
1
Attachment Early graphics for the song "TRANCE DE JANEIRO (SAMBA DE JANEIRO 2002 Epic Vocal Remix)" by BELLINI exist within the game's data. Interestingly, these early graphics lack the remix subtitle and merely referred to the song as "TRANCE DE JANEIRO".
Rugrats: Search for Reptar
1
Still logos for n-Space, THQ and Nickelodeon exist within the game's data, all of which differ from the animated ones used in-game. Interestingly, the unused Nickelodeon logo would be reused in other Rugrats games.
Dance Dance Revolution Best Hits
1
Attachment Unused graphics for the song "LOVE" by SONIC DREAM can be found in the game's data, implying that this song could have been playable but was dropped in development.
Dance Dance Revolution 3rdMix
1
Banners and backgrounds for three songs, "FOLLOW THE SUN (90 IN THE SHADE MIX), "IT ONLY TAKES A MINUTE (Extended Remix)", and "XANADU" appear in the PlayStation version's data, despite not appearing on a home console release until Dance Dance Revolution 4th Mix.
Watch Dogs: Legion
1
Attachment In an update for the game released in November, 2020, two in-game podcasts featuring journalist Helen Lewis were replaced by Ubisoft after receiving complaints from concerned gamers. This was due to Lewis being known in the public for having transphobic views and writing a number of articles criticizing legislation which were in support of making gender transitioning easier.

Ubisoft told in a statement that the speaker profiles for the scripted in-game podcasts were chosen by an external producer that worked with the development team. They promised that in future they'd perform background checks on any future partners.
Paper Mario: The Origami King
1
Attachment The Sombrero Guy from Autumn Mountain may have been planned to be a temporary party member just like Spike and Bone Goomba, but was left out. Altering the code through save file hacking makes the character fully functional and adds an otherwise unused graphic to the pause menu.
Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex
1
There are three unused levels still present within the game; an Airship Level, an unfinished version of Fahrenheit Frenzy, and a Warp Room that was presented at E3 2001. Out of the three, the Airship level is the most finished.

The E3 Warp Room is an area containing 5 warp pads, all of which have no collision and will not warp the player anywhere. Interestingly, each warp pad has a hologram of their respective levels overlaid on the pads. This feature isn’t used anywhere in the final game.

The Airship level and the E3 Warp Room can be accessed through Action Replay codes on the North American GameCube versions.
Sonic Forces
1
In the PC version, there are several unused animations stored in the game’s files. These include animations carried over from Sonic Generations for Classic Sonic, a goal post animation from Generations, a "seek" motion for The Egg Pawns, a damage animation for Silver, early boss fight animations for Metal Sonic, and hand motions for The Golems from Capital City.
