In Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, if you use Weather Ball under the effects of Shadow Sky, it becomes a ??? Type move.
Pokémon Red Version
1
Attachment Kingler's front-facing sprite erroneously depicts its claws as equal in size, when in reality the right claw is actually much smaller than the left.
Strangely enough, in the original Japanese Red and Green versions, the claws are their correct sizes. The claws are once again their correct sizes in Yellow version.
Additionally, the side that the larger claw appears on was changed after Generation I. The bigger claw became the left claw while the smaller claw became the right.
Final Fantasy IX

A section of the game can be skipped by obtaining a Gold Chocobo right after getting the Blue Narciss but before getting the airship. This let you bypass The Desert Palace and jump to right before Ispen's Castle on disk 3.

The Downsides:
• Dagger is permanently stuck in her "Mute" condition (no Trance, commands fail on a regular basis)
• The player will have to buy a Ribbon at the Treno Auction House in order to have Eiko learn the Madeen summon, as Mount Gulug will be skipped.
• Ozma will have to be beaten to get a second Pumice Piece to have Dagger learn the Ark summon (since the one in Oeilvert is unattainable).
• Items from the Desert Palace cannot be recovered.

The Upsides:
• Completely skip boss battles such as Ark and Valia Pira.
• Saved time for those who have already played the game, or those trying to obtain Excalibur II.
• Automatic access of Hilda Garde III.
• The Gold Chocobo

This is only possible in early Japanese and North American releases as the items required were made impossible to get at that point in the game in later versions.

Attachment The blurb on the back of the boxes states that 139 different Pokémon can be obtained in each game without trading. This, however, includes all Pokémon that the player must choose between (i.e., both the Omanyte and Kabuto families are counted). Therefore, the true total of different Pokémon obtainable in one adventure without trading is 124, which excludes the two unchosen starter families, one Fossil family, two Eeveelutions, one of Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan, and the four Pokémon that only evolve when traded.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

There are many mistakes in the weapon models in the game, most likely due to balance or oversight.
Platform: PlayStation
1
Attachment The original PlayStation is often mistakenly referred to as PSX, while in reality PSX is a totally different system. It is a Sony digital video recorder with a fully integrated PlayStation 2 and was only released in Japan.
Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D
1
Attachment The Kerotans from the PS2 version are replaced with Yoshi dolls. If shot, they make the "Yoshi!" cry. If the player calls up Para-Medic, she will start talking about how popular Yoshi has gotten in the Soviet Union. This is strange as the game takes place in the 1960's, at lest 20 years before Super Mario World was released.
Doctor Who: The Adventure Games
1
There is a continuity error between the second episode of the video game "Blood of the Cybermen" and the television episode "The Pandorica Opens". On both occasions, Amy Pond doesn't recognise the Cybermen, even though the latter is set chronologically after, albeit the video game was published later. Amy also encountered them in the two video games "Doctor Who: Return to Earth" and "Doctor Who: The Mazes of Time", both also released after "The Pandorica Opens" but set prior. It's assumed by fans that this could be due to the cracks in time altering Amy's memories.
Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
1
Attachment There's an error on both the PAL and US box art of Mario Kart: Double Dash which displays the "L" on Luigi's cap as being backwards.
Mega Man 8
1
Bass's name is mispronounced throughout the game. In the game, his name is pronounced "bass" (like the fish), however his name is meant to be read as "base," since his and Treble's names come from the bass and treble clefs. This has lead to much confusion on how to pronounce his name.
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
1
While fighting The Sorrow, if you call people on the codec, they will speak as if you were at the death screen.
Mega Man 6
1
After defeating Mr. X, there is a typo in his speech. He will say that he "Faild" instead of "Failed." This was later fixed in the Anniversary Collection.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Attachment Yoshi's saddle is missing in the Super Dragon trophy.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl
1
Moltres' trophy says that its first game was Pokemon Gold and Silver, when it really originated in Red and Blue.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
1
On the Kyle Hyde trophy, it states that he is a former detective. This is not true; Kyle is a former cop who worked for the NYPD.
