King's Field: The Ancient City
1
In the King's Mausoleum, there is a very dark room you can go to that has several stone faces hanging from the ceiling, and a stone pedestal in the center of the room that can be set on fire to brighten it (to better hear this Easter egg, you should not light it, and turn off the music). If you stand in front of the pedestal, several distorted voices can be heard throughout the room. Reversing them reveals that they are actually voice clips of the Radio Operators from the English dub of Armored Core 2: Another Age.

If the player enters the following names starting with the word "Krunk" as their profile name, hidden messages will appear:

Krunk: "You heard about the time I killed me a couple of Heroes?"
Krunkl: [same message as above]
Krunki: "My hands are red with the blood of thousands."
Krunko: "You know I once burned down a whole village?"
Krunkn: "I once killed a White Balverine, I did. It's true."

Note that the last letter in each variation of "Krunk" spells "lion", in reference to Lionhead Studios.

Attachment In the level, "Wild Nile Ride", there is a hidden message hidden underneath the floor directly before the second Checkpoint crate; while impossible to view without a graphical viewer tool, the Prima Official Strategy Guide features it.

The message reads, "TATTA" with a Vicarious Visions logo and a crude smiley face.
Alf

Attachment There's a pretty mean-spirited item in the game simply called "ALF book", which is sold for $100 in one of the game's shops. The book displays a block of text explaining the game's plot, as well as some strange fourth-wall-breaking story about the making of the game. Although this item might seem harmless, it also boots the player back to the title screen without warning and effectively restarts the game.

Attachment Five of the dungeon maps in the Second Quest can be put together to spell "ZELDA".

In one cutscene, Wave berates Jet with sped up, high-pitched dialogue. Slowing down this dialogue reveals that it's comprised of recycled Japanese voice clips of most of Wave's dialogue up to that point in the game.

Halo: Combat Evolved

Attachment In 2022, an Easter egg was discovered on the title screen of the Beta 1749 build of the game dating back to August 15, 2001. A hidden legible message can appear among the 8-bit text reading:

"this is whack
if you can
read

this you are to damn close"

This presumably refers to staring directly in front of the screen to read the tiny message.

Attachment The map for the level "The Project" features the hidden message "PHAT CITY".

When using the Compost, entering the code "6832202" will cause a hidden message from programmer Steve Conrad to appear:

"I dedicate this game to my loving wife, Michele, and our wonderful son, Sean. I love them both very much!

Love,
Stevie"

This message went undiscovered until 2022.

In the Dream level, there is a Titanium Bolt that must be obtained by shooting a giant floating crab at a certain point in the level to get warped to a different portion where the Bolt is. It's initially unclear that the player is supposed to shoot the crab specifically due to the hitbox for the warp going beyond the crab, which already floats and disappears out of frame in a loop. However, scoping in on the crab will cause the crosshair to turn red, indicating that it can be hit. Sitting and doing nothing while aiming at the crab for about a minute will cause a hint to appear on the bottom of the screen: "Attack its weak point for massive damage."

This Easter egg went undiscovered until 2022, and is a reference to an infamous gaff during Sony's press conference at E3 2006. During a demonstration of Genji: Days of the Blade, the spokesperson presenting the game claimed that its battles were based on actual battles that took place in ancient Japan, just as a "giant enemy crab" appeared in the demo soon after, with the spokesperson awkwardly commenting on the crab's weak point.

There may also be a second reference to the event when returning to Pokitaru after completing the Dream level, where a lone Scuttle Crab will now spawn in a new spot on the beach.

Attachment During the Dark Brotherhood Quest, "Following A Lead", dropping the item, "Mother's Head", near Mathieu Bellamont will trigger special dialogue which hints to him being the traitor, although this is not revealed until the next quest.

Attachment When playing the game's tutorial "A Keeper's Training" on Expert mode, a secret room can be found after you finish the sword fight with the Sparring Partner. You must run to the table behind the sparring arena and pick up the key, and then follow the Sparring Partner into the hallway he walked out of. This must be done quickly as a set of bars will lower to prevent entry not long after he re-enters the hallway. Once in the hallway, continue past him to the right until you see a locked door. You can then either use the key to unlock it or bash the door open with the sword. Inside this room is a pair of crudely-modeled basketball hoops, complete with a basketball that can be equipped and thrown, and in the very back of the room, a Bedroll can be found containing a set of humorous quotes attributed to the developers during the making of the game.
Gex: Enter the Gecko

Attachment In the stage "www.dotcom.com", there is a secret tipball, which when accessed, gives you an old web address where you had several tips and cheats of the game.

The URL has long since been defunct, but can be accessed via the Wayback Machine.

In the boss stage, "Mooshoo Pork" should the player enter into Look mode using the Triangle button and face the left area of the stage for several seconds, a sudden message in green font will come up in the upper left hand corner of the screen, citing: HOORAY FOR BUNNY GEX/HE SURE IS A FUNNY GEX/RA RA RA.

This seemingly out-of-place message is in direct reference to the bunny costume that Gex dons during the "Toon TV" stage.

Attachment In the hub world, "THE MEDIA DIMENSION", a hidden developer message can be found behind the area that hosts the entrances to three unlockable bonus stages, and can be viewed when using the Manual camera controls.

The message reads, "Jezza! rich '98, Faith, Hope, Unity."
