Attachment In Team Fortress 2's short film 'Expiration Date', during Scout's conversation with Miss Pauling near the start of the film, a keypad can be seen on the door behind him. When examined closer, the '1' key is noticeably dented when compared to the other keys. This implies that the combination for the door is some variant of '1111' - The same combination for BLU's intelligence room in Meet the Spy.

Attachment In the Boxing Ring stage of the Wii U version of the game, character aliases appear on the screen in the background which reference other games or early concepts, such as Mario's being "Mr. Video Game Himself" referencing his early name "Mr. Video", and R.O.B.'s being Spoiler:"The Last of His Kind", referencing the events of Subspace Emissary from Super Smash Bros. Brawl in which Spoiler:the other R.O.B.s were destroyed.

Attachment The mutant fire-ant centered quest called "Those!" is a reference to the 1954 film titled "Them!", in which ants are mutated by atomic tests in New Mexico, which in turn makes them gigantic and wreck havoc upon civilization.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

There are several easters eggs amongst the plaques and graffiti in The Pelican Inn can be found;

• On the scoreboard for the darts game, a plaque with a lion emblem and a calendar have the names Reuban Shah and Brian Beppu on them. Reuban is an Environment Modeler and Brian is a Texture Artist, both for Naughty Dog.
• A larger plaque has not only Reuban Shah and Brian Beppu, but also Charlotte Francis, what is thought to be "Anthony Vaccaro" who is also an Environment Modeler, Paul Moya, David Witters and two more that, at the moment, can't be properly read due to graphical limitations. These aforementioned are all also Naughty Dog employees.
• The bathroom also has a small name drop, with graffiti saying "Charlie Horsey", which is a bit of a moniker Brian Beppu used in the past.
• "ND1" and "ND1 DOG", can be found as a beer and also a sticker in the pub's restroom, which likely means Naughty Dog. The Naughty Dog paw-print logo is also found in the restroom.
• Finally, a series of plaques with the Uncharted series titles (Uncharted, Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3), with their respective release dates on them (2007, 2009 and 2011.)
FTL: Faster Than Light

A number of the game's achievements reference various popular media:
• The "Rule Ten: Greed is Eternal" achievement is a reference to the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition from the Star Trek series.
• The "No Redshirts Here" achievement, which is earned by making sure no crew members died before reaching Sector 8, is an infamous reference to Star Trek: The Original Series, in which the security officers, who wore red shirts, would often be killed off moments after being introduced.
• The "I don't need no stinkin' upgrades!" achievement is a reference to the popularized-movie version of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, in which one of the characters makes the statement "Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I don't have to show you any stinkin' badges!"
• The "Some people just like to watch ships burn" achievement references the Batman film, The Dark Knight, namely Alfred Pennyworth quoting "Some people just want to watch the world burn."
• The "On a Wing and a Prayer" achievement is a reference to the song of the same name, which was popularized during World War II.
• The "Trustworthy Auto-Pilot" achievement icon parodies HAL 9000 from Arthur C. Clarke's science fiction Space Odyssey saga.

Attachment The community created cosmetic item "Crazy Legs" for the Scout is named after an old bug that would cause the Scout's legs to bend in an unusual fashion. It is also an alternate name for the Hunter from the Left 4 Dead series, of which inspired the item's appearance.

Attachment There are 2 hidden difficulty levels within the game. When at the difficultly screen in Challenge Mode, pressing select & A while hovering over Hard More will unlock Super Hard Mode. Doing this again while hovering over Super Hard Mode will unlock Intense Mode, the highest difficulty level available in the game.
