Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards
1
According to Al Lowe, sometime after the release of Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of The Lounge Lizards there were talks about a live-action Leisure Suit Larry movie. Al even stated that Jim Carrey was one of the considered actors to play as Larry. The movie didn't go through into full production. Al later stated that the scripts he was handed for the film "didn't feel like the game".
Divekick
1
Attachment The character Redacted is a likeness of Marvel's Wolverine; she shares his dive kick move from Marvel Vs. Capcom, smokes cigars and hails from British Columbia, Canada. She was even called Wolverine early in the game's development but had her name changed to avoid legal issues with Marvel.
Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe
1
DLC was planned for the game. Quan Chi and Harley Quinn were the only ones officially confirmed. There were also hints for Kung Lao and Doomsday. Due to Midway's bankruptcy, these were never released.
Saints Row: The Third
1
The main character of Saints Row: The Third was originally going to be an undercover cop infiltrating the Saints, and the story was more choice-driven. The idea was scrapped after the first six months of development because the developers didn't think the concept felt like a Saints Row game.
Team Fortress 2
1
According to someone on the Team Fortress 2 development team, the song that was going to be playing in the Pyro's mind in the video, "Meet The Pyro," was originally going to be Tiny Tim's "Livin' in the Sunlight, Lovin' in the Moonlight." For one reason or another, the song was not used and was instead replaced with "Do You Believe in Magic" by The Lovin' Spoonful.
Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tome
1
Attachment Asagi was originally supposed to get the role of the main character in the planned sequel, Makai Wars. However, the game was indefinitely postponed, which has led to Asagi being a recurring character in many Nippon Ichi games, usually trying to steal the spot of the main character for herself.
Mega Man
1
Attachment During development, it was once planned the original Mega Man game would have eight Robot Masters instead of the final's six. One of these two scrapped Robot Masters was Bond Man, a robot that would have used glue as his main weapon and when acquired by Mega Man, he could temporally hold enemies in place (a gimmick that would later be used by the final game's Ice Slasher).

The PSP remake of Mega Man, "Mega Man: Powered Up" features two additional Robot Masters: Time Man and Oil Man, whom have no connection to Bond Man. There did exist plans to add Bond Man into Powered Up, but this idea was recalled to keep Bond Man's cult status.
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
1
Hideo Kojima originally wanted the Beauty and the Beast Corps to be completely naked in the cut scenes. The motion capture actors were even asked to preform the motion capture nude, though this could also not be used in the game. The Beauty and the Beast Corps were, instead, given cat-suits, which could still show off their bodies without affecting the rating.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3
1
Attachment Sonic was planned to fall asleep if you wait around, but the sprite wasn't used.
Manhunt 2
1
Attachment There was going to be a newspaper and dildo weapon. Only their animations, sounds and HUD icons remain.
Sonic Adventure 2
1
There are also several unused lines, fully voiced by the game's English cast. Notably, some of these lines hint at scenes removed from the game's Last Story, 2 of which featured the President and his secretary, the latter (as well as Amy) telling the President not to give up hope and a scene that would take place shortly after Finalhazard's defeat, where the President says that, as a child, he admired heroes like Sonic and aspired to be as heroic and beloved as him, with the Secretary offering encouragement.

Another set of lines that would have appeared during the ending credits feature Eggman declaring he'll conquer the world without anyone's help, as well as him and Tails agreeing not to hold back next time they meet.
Kingdom Hearts
1
In an early trailer for the game, there is a scene showing Riku on top of Big Ben in Neverland. This scene does not appear in the final game, nor does Riku ever go to Big Ben in any way. Despite this, it is considered canon as a cutscene in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded shows that this is where Riku and Kairi went after leaving Captain Hook's ship.
Team Fortress 2
1
The model for the Engineer Robot had actually been in the game's files since the Mann vs. Machine update, but the enemy was not actually implemented until months later during the Mecha Update.
Hudson's Adventure Island
1
The game started out as a port of the arcade game Wonder Boy. Although Escape had the rights to the game, Sega owned the rights to the main characters, bosses, and names, which meant that the NES version could not be a direct port. To get around the licensing issue, Hudson Soft changed the character sprites and names to create a brand new series.
Wolfenstein 3D
1
Attachment ID software originally held a contest where, if a player completed the insane secret maze in Episode 2, Floor 8, they would find a sprite that said "Call Apogee say 'AARDWOLF.'" The contest was cancelled because map editors were made for the game that allowed players to navigate through the maze much easier, trivializing the contest. In later versions, a certain part of the maze was blocked off and/or replaced the sign with a pile of bones.
Grand Theft Auto IV
1
Attachment Binco from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was meant to appear in the game, but was replaced with the Russian Clothing Shop. You can see it in the "Looking For That Special Someone" trailer.

1
Attachment After Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal, Insomniac was planning to announce another Ratchet & Clank game called Ratchet & Clank: Nexus. The idea was scrapped and instead Insomniac released Ratchet: Deadlocked (Ratchet: Gladiator in Europe) which used some features from Ratchet & Clank: Nexus. The name Ratchet & Clank: Nexus may have also inspired the name for Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus.
MySims Agents
1
Attachment Faith, the protagonist from Mirrors Edge, was to appear as a cameo, but was removed for unknown reasons. She can be seen as a trophy in Boudreaux Mansion.
Kirby's Dream Land
1
Attachment Kirby's victory dance was going to have individual sprites that show Kirby dancing, but because there wasn't enough memory, the developers used a combination of Kirby's regular move-set to make it look like Kirby's dancing.
