Attachment Hidden in the file "CutScene.fsb" is an audio file named "Cutscene_test.wav" which contains audio from the Spongebob SquarePants Episode "Life of Crime", the filename suggests it was most likely an audio test.
Street Fighter
1
Attachment There's unused audio in the game files for a "Fire Kick", along with unused graphics that suggest Ryu and Ken were planned to have a fourth special move.
Undertale
1
Attachment Prior to January 20, 2016, there was an unused audio file within the game's named "abc_123_a.ogg". The audio contains several text-to-speech voices warning the player not to spoil the game online. This audio has since been replaced with a different clip laughing at the listener.

LEGO Island 2: The Brickster's Revenge
1
There is an unused version of the sound of Pepper pulling out his skateboard, which is followed by an excerpt from Apocalypse Now: "I love the smell of napalm in the morning!"
This was most likely put in by mistake by the developers.
Kirby's Dream Land 2
1
Attachment There is an unused track that can be accessed from within the game as "FGM #94" in the Sound Test. This theme was later remade for Kirby: Triple Deluxe, and used in the Cave section of Fine Field.

The song "Strictly Business" hasn't appeared on any Dance Dance Revolution games since Dance Dance Revolution 3rd Mix due to licensing issues with its artist.
Bloodborne
1
During the game's public alpha test, a player managed to gain access to a restricted area and was killed in an unfinished boss encounter with Father Gascoigne. When dying, the boss mutters the words "Umbasa", a common word used by NPCs in Demon's Souls, Bloodborne's spiritual predecessor. This may suggest that Bloodborne is set in the same universe as the Demon's Souls series or simply a reference to the series by the developers. This line of dialogue was removed from the final release.
Dark Souls II
1
There is unused dialogue in the game's files of Gavlan speaking an unknown language. This is likely the language of his people, the Gyrm.
Kingdom Hearts II
1
Roxas has unused quotes in the game that can be activated when Spoiler:Guiding Minnie to the Hall of the Corner Stone so Sora, Donald, and Goofy can fix it. This suggests that Roxas may have once served a bigger playing role, or it was simply used for testing.
Borderlands 2
1
Handsome Jack had dialogue recorded for the New-U Station revival taunts, but they were unused in the final release.
Borderlands
1
Within the game's files is a video file that was likely a trailer for the game. Never shown before or after the game's release, the video features the song "Greenfields" performed by the Brothers Four, as well a few small differences from the final game such as an early model for the character Lilith, and "Fyrestone" being spelled "Firestone".
Disney's DuckTales
1
The Transylvania theme was completely different in the game's prototype, and the moon theme was originally 20% slower than in the final version.
Demon's Souls

Attachment According to a text dump and some unused dialogue from the Crestfallen Warrior in the Nexus, there was a planned "true death" mode. It is unclear if it is just an optional mode akin to "hardcore mode" in other games or if it was previously planned to be a part of the regular game.

The "true death" essentially meant if the player died while in soul form, they would lose more than just the souls they collected beforehand. Due to how it was worded, it was not clear if it meant everything (gear, items, levels, etc) were lost or if the player would keep their obtained gear but lose their levels. The player would also be bound to a "Stone Monolith" after true death, but nothing more referring to the Monolith could be found in the files. It also meant that the player collecting their bloodstains would have not only given them their souls but also their body.

The mode was likely cut due to being too unforgiving, if the intention of it was to be a part of the regular gameplay. In the final version of the game, the bloodstains simply returned the lost souls to the player and they could simply re-obtain their body in a number of different ways.
Demon's Souls

Attachment There is unused dialogue of a woman identified as "Hanging Woman." The dialogue suggests that the woman is in pain and misery, and wants the player to cut her down from wherever she is, killing her in the process.

The Hanging Woman is heavily implied to be the daughter of Stockpile Thomas, as in the beginning of the Boletarian Palace (World 1-1) there is a location of two hanging corpses that can be cut down, one holding a female armor set (Old Raggedy Robes) and the other a Jade Hair Ornament. According to the event triggered by Stockpile Thomas, the Jade Hair Ornament belonged to his daughter. It is not known if the Raggedy Robes belonged to her as well, or some other woman, who may have been her mother/Thomas's wife who also did not make it out alive or just another different person.

The event was never finished, as in the final version of the game the two hanging corpses found are actually male and already dead, which implies the two simply picked up the Jade Hair Ornament and Raggedy Robes before being killed.
Dark Souls
1
Knight Artorias (aka Artorias the Abysswalker) has cut dialogue found in the Artorias of the Abyss DLC. The cut dialogue implies he is not actually human himself and was slowly losing control over his own body and mind to the corruption of the Abyss, telling the player to stay away for their own good. In the final version of the game Spoiler:Artorias had already been completely overwhelmed by the Abyss, having no dialogue whatsoever.
Super Mario Sunshine
1
Attachment Within the game's data is a sound file of Mario saying "Ciao"; this is meant to have a 1/8 chance of replacing the coin sound effect that accompanies the Nintendo logo when booting up the game. However, due to a programming error, the random number generator for this sequence is initialized at 0, resulting in it never rolling. Consequently, the "Ciao" voice clip cannot be heard in the normal course of play.
